COVID-19 UPDATE 03/12/2021

Dear Families:

I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy during these challenging times.  Although many things have changed, our commitment to the safety and health of your child and family, as well as our staff, remains our top priority.  We have made many changes in our procedures to ensure the guidelines of the CDC and the state and local government are being followed.   Please carefully read the following changes. We look forward to seeing your child in the clinic.

  1. The clinic re-opened for in office services beginning May 18, 2020.
  2. Telemed services remain as an option until further notice.
  3. For in office Evaluations and Treatment sessions all children will be greeted in the lobby.
  4. The Reception area/Waiting Room is closed for the foreseeable future.
  5. No family members will be in the treatment room with the child and therapist unless this is deemed a necessity by the therapist, and approved by me.
  6. Upon arrival the Therapist will take your child’s temperature and assist your child in washing their hands.
  7. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the clinic.
  8. Parents may wait in their car, the lobby, vending room, garden behind the building, but not to leave the area.  Please maintain social distancing in any area.  Make sure you have your cell phone with you in the event we need to contact you.
  9. After the treating session children will again wash their hands, and then be returned to the lobby.  For OT it will be after a 53 minute session and for Speech a 25 minute session.
  10. There will be no discussion of the treatment session during the return of the child as information will be sent to you through the Patient Portal, or you will be contacted by telephone. There are no exceptions.
  11. OTs will be wearing face masks and gloves, and Speech Therapists will be wearing plexiglass face shields and gloves.
  12. Equipment and toys used during therapy will be immediately cleaned with sanitizing agents.
  13. Children will remain in one room only with the therapist, and each child and therapist will be alone in that room.
  14. Please be timely regarding scheduled arrival and pickup times.
  15. Secured Credit Card payments can be made through the Patient Portal or Quickpay feature on our Website,, which is preferred, or by calling Mike at 404-617-7672, or Kelly at 800-639-1578 Ext. 2156.
  16. The procedures that pertain to the CDC and state and local government guidance will remain in effect until they indicate they may be adapted.

Thank you for your patience through these challenging times, and for your understanding of the changes we put in place regarding the safety of the children, families and staff.  We look forward to seeing the children back in the clinic as soon as possible.  We will continue to post updates on our Website as they materialize.
